The Camflex is an unusually-shaped aluminium-bodied camera taking 6×6cm images on 620 film. The camera has a square front, with a long shutter release button and a waist-level viewfinder on top. The rear is taller, to accommodate the film spools, with the film running vertically from the bottom to the top. The shutter is a simple I/T device. The lens surround is marked as "National Distributors Sales" and "Made in U.S.A." - it was made by the National Instrument Corp. of Houston, Texas.
