Bender Photographic sold this monorail view camera as a kit photographers would assemble themselves. In 2008 Bender left the camera business, but an archived copy of the company web page quotes a price of USD $429.50[1] for the 8×10 model. A commercially-manufactured monorail camera (Toyo-View, Linhof, or Arca Swiss) would cost many thousands of dollars in this size.
