The '''Bencini Relex''' camera used [[127 film]] and was made in Italy by [[Bencini]] ca 1949. The camera has a simple point-and-shoot design with almost no settings that can be adjusted by the user. Shutter speed is either 1/50 or Bulb. The 75mm lens has a fixed, f/11 aperture. The lens assembly consists of a rigid metal tube that must be extended and locked before use. For storage, the lens tube collapses back into the camera. The Bencini Relex produces 5.8 x 4.2 cm images<ref>Measurement of actual image on negative, original spec may differ</ref> on 127 film. The camera body is made from die-cast aluminium, much like its predecessor, the [[Bencini Comet]]. The primary difference between the two cameras is that the Comet records portrait aspect ratio images on 127 film while the Relex creates more conventional landscape aspect ratio images.
