Since the arrival of digital photography on the market analog photography is a term for any photography that uses film or light-sensitized glass plates as the light-sensitive medium.

It should be noted that most TV/video cameras were, until recently, analog electronic devices. The French use a more descriptive term for film photography: Argentile - silver photography.
