The Adox 66 was a bakelite box camera. The eye of its reflecting type viewfinder was placed directly over the camera lens, giving the camera a bit of the look of a pseudo TLR. It was made by Hermann Wolf GmbH, Wuppertal, Germany, for the Adox company. Wolf made a similar model named Gevabox for Gevaert in Belgium. Wolf's own name for that camera was Luxa 66.

It had a focusable 1:8 meniscus lens, choice between instant and time mode, and choice between the two apertures f8 and f11. It had a thread in the bottom to put it onto a tripod, and a thread in the top to connect a remote shutter release.
