Description
An 808 Camera is a general class of tiny digital camera disguised to look like an automobile key fob, leading to the cameras frequently being referred to as 808 Key Chain Cameras or 808 Key Fob Cameras. These cameras are made by several different manufactures in Asian countries. The cameras are usually not branded or given any identifying marks. Some are digital still cameras but most also offer motion video capture.
A sub-culture of hobbyists has grown up around these cameras. Much of the activity centers on the website of Chuck Lohr, who collects every type of information about the 808 cameras. His website includes tentative identifications of at least 16 different models and provides help to users and hackers of the cameras.[1]
