Miyamoto Lens Kenkyūjo (宮本レンズ研究所) was a Japanese company based in Tokyo, Shinagawa in 1943.[1] It is listed in the April 1943 government inquiry as the maker of the Cyclon 3×4cm camera and its Cyclon 50/3.5 three-element lens.[2] It seems that this camera has a focal-plane shutter.[3] It was distributed by Sankō-sha, the same company which sold rangefinder conversions for the Gelto and other cameras, under the same brand "Cyclon".
Notes
- ↑ Its address in 1943 was Tōkyō-to Shinagawa-ku Ōi Minami-Hamakawa-chō 1626 (東京都品川区大井南浜川町1626). Source: "Kokusan shashinki no genjōchōsa" ("Inquiry into Japanese cameras").

- ↑ The entry of the document is incomplete. The shutter code is F-6, and all the other shutters in the "F" category are of the focal-plane type.
