Aptus Ltd. was a specialized camera maker based in Liverpool. In the 1950s it presented the Aptus Ferrotype camera, a kind of magazine camera. Exposed sheets fall automatically into a developer bath. After a photo session the developer tank can be removed and the development liquid replaced by a fixing bath. Accessories allow to make positives from the negatives by means of a supplementary close-up lens.
