The Chinon CE-4 was the model which transitioned away from the 42mm screw mount used in the Chinon CE-3 to the Pentax K-mount. It's an automatic 35mm SLR compact camera with aperture priority exposure system (AE).
Chinon CE-4s specificatios
Same specifications as for Chinon CE-4, but with with the following changes:
- Shutter speeds: stepless speeds from 8 to 1/1000 sec. on automatic; 13 speeds from 4 to 1/1000 sec. on manual for CE4, but stepless speeds from 4 to 1/2000 sec. on automatic; 13 speeds from 2 to 1/2000 sec. on manual for CE-4s.
- Viewfinder: Over exposure LED blinks and under exposure LED will glow when exposure is -2EV and will flash at-2EV or lower for CE4, but over exposure LED blinks and under exposure LED will glow when exposure is -2EV and will flash at-2EV or lower for CE-4s.
- Exposure range: EV-2 (F/1.4 @ 8 sec.) to EV+ 19 (F/22 @1000) ASA 100 50mm F/1.4 lens for CE4, but EV-1 (F/1.4 @ 4 sec.) to EV+ 20 (F/22 @2000) ASA 100 50mm F/1.4 lens for CE-4s.
