Fujiwara
Fujiwara Seisakusho (藤原製作所) is a Japanese camera maker about which very little is known. It made the Oscar Six and Renown Six in 1953 and 1954. In advertisements for these two cameras, its address is given as Arakawa-ku, Minami Senju (荒川区南千住) 2–13, northeast of central Tokyo.[1]
Fujiwara is a surname, and seisakusho means factory.
A company of the same name (and named either Fujiwara Scientific Co. Ltd. or Fujiwara Factory in English) exists today (2011). It was set up well before these two folding cameras were made.[2] It makes scientific instruments, and its relationship with the producer of the cameras is unclear.
