[[Enjalbert|Theophile-Ernest Enjalbert]] produced a camera in the shape of a revolver in Paris, France, c. 1882. The '''Photo-Revolver de Poche''' made 10 exposures of about 18x18mm on dry plates (notes on examples sold at Christie's, apparently quoting from a source (perhaps Cornwall's ''Historische Kameras'' see below) give the plate-size as ''20'' mm square, and state that a larger model for 40-mm plates was also made;<ref name=Ch>[https://www.christies.com/lot/lot-enjalbert-france-557117 Photo-Revolver de Poche] serial no. 3, sold (for 55 750 UK pounds) at [http://www.christies.com/ Christie's] Sale 6948, ''Cameras and Optical Toys'', 31 August 1995  London (interesting text but no picture).</ref><ref>[https://www.christies.com/lot/lot-revolver-de-poche-camera-no-8-3954921 Photo-Revolver de Poche] serial no. 8, sold (for 69 750 UK pounds) at Christie's sale 9434, ''Cameras and Photographic Equipment'', 16 July 2002, London (picture).</ref> notes on an example sold at Westlicht give ''16'' mm square<ref name=W>[https://www.leitz-auction.com/en/Enjalbert-Photo-Revolver-de-Poche/AI-13-16809 Photo-Revolver de Poche] serial no. 9, sold at the [https://www.leitz-auction.com/en/Cameras/Past-Auctions/Auction-13/ thirteenth Westlicht Photographica Auction], on 7 June 2008.</ref>). The camera has a 70mm f/10 lens as the gun barrel. It was designed by [[Albert Posso]] (1854-1932). According to the notes on one sold at Westlicht,<ref name=W/> only fourteen examples of the camera were made, and as few as six are thought to survive.

The camera was the subject of French Patent 147655, of 1882,<ref name=Ch/> but this Patent lapsed after a year because a renewal fee was not paid.
