Hello everybody! Thanks for the warm welcome and also for the suggestions! I will come back with more photos from time to time.

Welcome to Camera-Wiki.org!

Thanks for creating an account here on Camera-Wiki.org! We appreciate your willingness to help us create the most comprehensive camera and photography encyclopedia on the web. Camera-Wiki.org is a big website, so we'd like to offer a few quick pointers to help get you started.

You also have a profile page that you can edit to tell us more about yourself if you'd like. It's purely optional but it's always nice to get to know another camera lover.

This website uses software called Mediawiki that's also used by WikiPedia. If you already know how to use and edit WikiPedia, you'll feel right at home here. If not, we have special page where you can learn to edit, called the Sandbox. It's a place where you try things out and experiment with no worries of breaking anything.

Welcome

Hello Systemdevice! Let me add a human welcome to Botscura's robot one. Thanks for your contribution to Weltblick. You seem to know what you're doing in the wiki, but if you need to ask any questions, feel free to get in touch with me, or another of the admins. Cheers! Another Human Welcome !

Hello,

Thanks for joining us and already editing some articles !
Camera-Wiki is always on the look-out for editors who will share their knowledge !

If you have any questions about editing you can always contact one of the Administrators for help.

These administrators regularly watch the Recent Changes Page so it is always a good idea to give a short description about your edit in the Summary field just underneath the Edit field. Any text you give there is visible on that Recent Changes page.

You might also write a little bit about yourself and your camera interests on your User page http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/User:Systemdevice

Just some remarks about the edits you made on the http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Weltblick page.
I noticed that 2 images were added. Unfortunately these images were not added to the Flickr Camera-Wiki pool and both images are "all rights reserved". This means that we are not allowed to use them in our Camera-Wiki and, sadly, if this state continues they have to be removed.
Another one is that the Flickr source link of the images does not have the right address. Once the images are added to our Camera-Wiki pool the addresses should incorporate a reference to that group.
So, to give you an example :

should be :

Best Regards and Happy Editing,

Thanks Hanskerensky! I joined the group and added the photos to the group's pool. I also changed the image rights from All-rights reserved to Non-commercial use. I hope it's ok. Cheers!

Yes, now the images are added to the Camera-Wiki pool it is Ok !
Just another tip. I see that you added some images of your cameras to the 42mm lenses page.
However the interesting part there, the lenses, are hardly visible and there is too much distraction by the appearance of your custom clothed cameras.
Maybe you can replace these images by close-up images of the lenses ?

Thanks again for the tips! I changed the pictures. From now on, if I know a lens I have is missing from camera-wiki and I plan to upload a picture of it, should I photograph it off-the-camera body or mounted on the camera like these ones?

Yes, much better now. Thank you !
When dealing with lenses, like on that 42mm screw lens page, it is of course important to show an image where the lens can be clearly seen.
This can either be on the camera body or apart from the body as long as Lens details can be clearly observed.
Best Regards,
