Topcon RE 200

The Topcon RE 200 is a manual focus 35mm SLR from Tōkyō Kōgaku. It accepts Topcon RE lenses based on the Exakta mount. It was released in black and chrome bodies. Ihagee West also marketed this as the Exakta EDX 2.

It has a metal focal-plane shutter with speeds from 1s to 1/1000 with B. Flash sync is at 1/125 sec. The self-timer delay is adjustable from 4 to 12 sec. It features a full aperture TTL, match LED, center-weighted metering system using two CdS cells. There are three LED's in the finder. The top LED indicates over exposure, the bottom one is for under exposure, and both emit a red color. The correct exposure lamp is in the middle and emits a green color. The meter has a range of 3.5 to 18 EV at (ASA 100), settable to film speeds from 25 to 1600 ASA. Focus is aided by a central micro-prism focusing spot. It uses two 1.5 volt silver oxide batteries. The film transport uses a manual film advance lever and rewind crank.
