Another Seica?
Hmm, I thought I recently saw evidence for a 6x6 Seica inscribed with the name of some other terminally obscure company that sounded like, but apparently wasn't, the forerunner of Canon. -- Hoary 18:14, 14 December 2006 (EST)
- Yes, it is somewhere in my todo list. I'll add something about this other Seica by Seiki Kogaku, apparently equipped with a Nikkor lens. I am still not convinced that it is unrelated with Canon's predecessor. I contacted the buyer but unfortunately he didn't answer. Minor hint: among the other objects of the seller there was a 50cm Hexar lens, probably for military use. It looks like this came from the estate sale of someone who had access to some interesting items during the American occupation of Japan. --Rebollo fr 18:28, 14 December 2006 (EST)
