Lens name and English exposure table

"The name Hitonar (ヒトナー) obviously refers to Hitler (written ヒトラー in Japanese)."

I regret to say that it's possible, yes. But I don't see the reference as obvious. For such a Nazi-celebratory camera, why have an exposure table in English? -- Added by Hoary as an SGML comment on April 2, 2007

Many sources present the reference as obvious, and it is not improbable in view of some other names like Heil or Adler. It indeed raises some questions, such as why this spelling "Hitonar" and not "Hitner", and why not directly using the name "Hitler"?
As for the exposure table in English, I don't understand why it is there in the first place. This camera was not for export, and I don't think there were that many English-speaking potential buyers. I would expect a Japanese language table.
