I think not. In my opinion, the whole lens and shutter unit of your Mamiya Six originally belonged to a Primoflex, see examples here or here. Normal equipment on the Mamiya Six K was the Copal or Copal MX; at some time, Mamiya surely met a shortage of available shutters (as Olympus for the Olympus Six) and this explains the huge variety of shutters found on the early models of the Six, but at the time of the Six K, I think that the production was more standardized. You'll notice that the release lever on your camera's shutter has a sort of pin protruding towards the front, that would exactly match the release button of the Primoflex pictured in Neco's website [1]. I think that Tōkyō_Kōgaku was a maker that was important enough to add its own name on the front plate of a shutter made by a different, obscure, company. --rebollo_fr 13:10, 17 December 2010 (EST)

Adrien, you may well be right here. I have footnoted the doubt on the shutter. There are other things 'off' with that unit, such as the serial number which is out out sequence (for a K body it is too early). As I do not have a second K, I cannot compare what's under the rangefinder housing, but will do as soon as I have one.--GitzoCollector 16:26, 17 December 2010 (EST)
