TEXT TEXT-the pin in back of the cocking lever acts as a cam and slides along the lower arm of the lever system, lifting it up as the shutter is cocked. The top spring loaded small lever is a contact for a flash Bulb system. This activates the lever D.E.P. system and the bar by the shutter release lever of the lens lifts up out of the way. Now you fire the shutter release button on the top deck. Once fired, the cocking lever of the lens slides back and the bar comes back preventing another exposure to be taken. Remember at that point there’s a red flag in the viewfinder and the shutter must be cocked again in order to fire the shutter. So it is a Double Exposure prevention system of sorts, strictly a fully manual one!by:Don@Eastwestphoto

Dirk, I have a Mamiya Six-ll #10346, oddly it has a RED DOT indicator instead of Arrows or tear Drop exposure counter. I own 19 mamiya l,ll,lll cameras; have seen another 100 on eBay but never a red dot? have you? regards, Don
