Surely this is plastic, probably Bakelite, not sheet steel?
See the video --Awcam 12:35, 31 October 2008 (EDT)
- I agree that this is surprising, but Zoltan Fejer's book on Hungarian cameras says that "the camera body is made from stamped steel sheet metal". --Rebollo fr 12:56, 31 October 2008 (EDT)
- Just asked an eBay seller who has one of offer right now. His response:"It is a well made camera, all metal constraction [sic] with leather covering."--Heritagefutures 18:46, 1 May 2012 (PDT)
MOM Budapest?
This is confusing to me. Don't both photos illustrate the Fotobox? The captions make it seem as though there's a variation of the Fotobox called the "Budapest". --John Kratz 07:38, 1 May 2012 (PDT)
- Fully agree, but as I am not firm in the saddle there I was loathe to change it--Heritagefutures 07:44, 1 May 2012 (PDT)
- I would consider deleting that (left) image altogether. Camera is not complete and the pic does not substantively add anything. Why not just make it a referenced link the fully interested can follow up?--Heritagefutures 07:47, 1 May 2012 (PDT)
- My thoughts exactly (all of them). I believe the image/caption in question was added by Vox, so I'll wait for his input.--John Kratz 08:38, 1 May 2012 (PDT)
