Hope I won't have upset too many people by the edits I have just done (I removed most of the text references to the J spelling; it was raised every other sentence, and was distracting). There was a duplicate page on the 'Agfa Isolette'; it was significantly less good than this one, so I incorporated the 'I' here and deleted that page. The 'V' didn't have a page, so I added that too. It would make sense to move the II and III to this page too; I may do that next (but not today).

I am unsure about the dates I have used: both McKeown and the 1954 Focal Press Isolette Guide have the first model as made in 1938, but several people confidently give it as '36 or '37. There was no reference for those dates; the only source mentioned was McKeown, so I have corrected the dates to agree with that. Anyone who knows better may want to correct them back, but they should cite a source. --Dustin McAmera 16:24, 31 October 2011 (PDT)

I think there's more obscure detail to be written about the first 'Jsorette/Jsolette/Isolette'; I've treated it as one thing.--Dustin McAmera 16:43, 3 November 2011 (PDT)

The picture format in the prewar Isolette is 56x56 (2 1/5" square) or 56x43mm (2 1/5x 1 11/16) by measuring negatives and the opening in the camera. It matches the Certo brochure quite closely +/- 2mmTitrisol (talk) 00:25, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
