I think this needs to be rewritten, and I might have a go if nobody else does (but almost anyone else will be better informed than me about these). Very little of the text as it stands is actually about the NKVD models in particular; just a vague attempt at the story of FED in general, for which there is another page, and some anecdotes. As far as I know, they are just a FED 1c or 1d of a particular period, with 'NKVD' in the engraving on the top. I have just commented out the picture, because Valdormar's Flickr account seems to be dead. There are other good pictures in the pool, but I'm not just going to add them to this article without some work on the text as well. --Dustin McAmera 18:29, 6 January 2012 (PST)
