Regarding though it seems likely that this was rarely done in practice. These lenses are considered serviceable but are far from the quality of professional German lenses from the same time; Soviet optical design lagged behind the West in key ways.
seems likely on what basis? considered serviceable by whom? This is an encyclopaedia, not a review site. Is there some evidence of how 'far from the quality...'? And what key ways?
The whole 'Conclusion' section also reads more like a review than a wiki entry: there is something to be said for this camera?
