This article appears to be stolen from WP

This article breaks one of our behaviour rules, in that most of the information, and even significant parts of the text are lifted straight out of the Wikipedia page on Calumet. I was trying to find out the relationship between Calumet and Cambo, and whether the modern Calumet Photographic is the same company as before, or a new one that licensed the name (like Adox for example). I mean to rewrite this page as soon as I find appropriate sources.--Dustin McAmera (talk) 09:46, 25 September 2015 (CDT)

:Hey - five years to the day since that comment! The article still says Calumet 'took over' Cambo. That seems pretty unlikely to me, since Calumet is bust in the USA, and still going in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, while Cambo is still developing new stuff in its own name. It seems more like Cambo took over the Calumet name for use in Europe, doesn't it? I will try to find out, but if anyone already knows, please take over and edit. Cheers! Dustin McAmera (talk) 14:41, 25 September 2020 (UTC) Forget it: I just deleted the statment. As far as I can see, it has been in the article since it was started. All that actually happened was that Calumet at some time was buying all its view cameras from Cambo. Calumet also set up a holding co which owns the European Calumet companies, and perhaps even the UK Wex Photo-Video, but certainly not Cambo. Dustin McAmera (talk) 15:02, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
