I have noted in the text that Gaisman's patents for this were from the start in association with Eastman Kodak; he was the assignor, i.e. (I think) the patent acknowledges him as the inventor, but asserts Kodak's right to exploit the invention. The crucial ones in 1914, where the invention starts to look like what Kodak actually made, are in Gaisman's name only; but these two are also British patents, just by the accident of what there is in the Espacenet database. I wonder if anybody knows if this is just a difference in how British and US patents were written, or did Gaisman do something smart to get more money out of EK? --Dustin McAmera (talk) 09:51, 18 October 2014 (PDT) (forget that: I don't think it's significant after all). However, more generally, I'd appreciate anybody (esp. someone who knows these cameras, as they were actually made) contributing to the article; were any of the writing-methods in the early patents ever made, or do all the cameras use the same method? --Dustin McAmera (talk) 11:34, 18 October 2014 (PDT)
