The earliest Singlo leaf shutters were everset single speed shutters with T(ime), B(ulb) and I(nstant) mode. They were made by Gauthier and were used on common folding cameras. Later versions like the Singlo-2 had two shutter speeds plus B(ulb) mode.

The Singlo was introduced in 1908[1]. It was available with dial-set as well as rim-set shutter speed versions. The Singlo-2 (postwar) only in a rim-set version.

An optional Selftimer was possible from 1935 onwards.
