The Rollei Giro 28 AFS is a modern, plastic autofocus compact camera with a 28mm f/4.5 prime lens.
Everything on this camera is automated, there are no options to choose regarding flash, aperture and shutter speed. It has a green flash-ready LED on the back and a red LED in the viewfinder that warns for under exposure. Film transport and rewind is motorized and it's equipped with a self-timer.
Film speed is being set by DX Encoding.
The green knob under the lens is the power switch, which also moves the lens cover.
It takes 2 AA batteries.
