The Ricoh GR Digital has been introduced by Ricoh in 2005, as digital replacement of the analog Ricoh GR1 and its analog successors (1996-2001). The GR Digital saw 3 revisions, the GR Digital II in 2007, the GR Digital III in 2009, and the Ricoh GR Digital IV in 2011, and was replaced in 2013 by the Ricoh GR which has a larger sensor. All digital GRs have a wide angle lens with a viewing angle like a 28mm lens for 35mm film, of course with more depth-of-field than the analog lens.
