The Ricoh 800 EES is a compact coupled rangefinder camera with a 40mm f/2.8 lens. It's a full automatic operated camera with an electronic shutter, coupled to a CdS cell , there is no manual override and it cannot be operated without batteries.

This model has shutterspeeds from 4 sec. to 1/800 sec, making it faster than it's 500G siblings. The ISO settings range from 25 to 800.

It takes 2 PX640 batteries, which aren't available anymore. There are however adapters available with which you're able to use normal LR44 batteries, but do keep in mind that the voltage of the old PX640 is 1.35V and not 1.5V, which can cause some exposure differences.
