Examples have been seen with Pronto shutters, but mounted with a Yugoslavian Ghetaldus-Zagreb Ghenar 45mm f/3.5 lens. The bodies are marked Made in Germany. Ghetaldus in the present day Croatia (2013), still produces optical lenses, but is mostly known for eye wear.

There are 8 different variants of Regula IIb cameras. Serial numbers of the Ghetaldus lenses are mixed with the ones used on Regula IIIa cameras fitted with Ghetaldus lenses. Only the earliest Regula IIb cameras have body serial numbers.
