The Olympus FE-5030 is a compact entry level digital camera released by Olympus in 2010. It is also known as the X-960 in some regions.

The features a 14 megapixels on a 1/2.33" CCD sensor. A f/2.8 to 6.5, 4.7 to 23.5 mm (26 to 130mm; 35mm equivalent) 5x wide zoom lens. The display is a 230,000 pixel, 2.7" TFT color LCD. An "Hi ISO Auto" mode is also available that increases ISO higher (than ISO Auto mode) to reduce camera shake. A fine zoom mode up to 33.5x, that combines optical zoom and software image cropping. Included is a Magic Filter feature that let's you apply effects like Pop Art, Pin Hole, Fisheye and Sketch. It uses SD card for media storage. It is power by a Li-Ion rechargeable battery. It's body colour is available in indium grey, aquamarine blue, flamingo pink, and pure white.


The FE-4030 is very similar and virtually identical in operation. The lens is different with a 4.7 to 18.6 mm, f/2.6 to 5.9 (26 to 105mm 35mm equivalent). It is also a tiny bit better than the one on the FE-5030 as it allows slightly closer super macro mode with closest distance of 0.04m compared to the 0.07m of the FE-5030. Instead of dedicated image stabilizer modes for still and video "IS movie", has a simpler "Dis Mode".
