There is also the Merlin pistol-shaped Bakelite camera.
The Merlin is a cast metal subminiature camera using special 20mm roll film. A roll of film yields seven 18x18mm frames. It was made by United Optical Instruments of Southend-on-Sea, England - possibly in the late 1930s. It has a single-speed shutter and a fixed-focus f/16 lens. The body has a flip-up frame viewfinder, and is finished in a crackle-effect paint, available in red, blue, green and black.
The Merlin was used (without the frame finder) as the innards of the ERAC Mercury pistol camera.
