The Simple Use is sold by Lomography as both a single use/disposable and a optional reloadable 35mm film camera. It was launched in 2017 and is is credited with launching the reloadable disposable class. But it was preceded by the Lomography Lomolitos in 2005 which is very similar. It is a plastic camera with a fixed 31mm lens with a fixed f/9 aperture and 1/120 shutter speed. The film plane is curved. The camera has a built in manually activated flash with a range of 1-2 metres and has a 15 second recharge time with 1 AA battery.

The camera is sold preloaded with film. Various versions are produced with preloaded Lomography film stocks. The core versions have Lomography 400CN (400ISO colour negative), Lady Grey (400ISO B&W) and Lomochrome Purple. Additional version have been made with newer films like Lomography Metropolis. All colour versions have a choice of coloured gel flash filters but the B&W version lacks this. Reloading Requires winding film onto a take-up drum in camera before shooting. Just as with a true disposable the film is then gradually rewound into the canister with each shot.
