The Leonar Model A I is folding plate camera, format 6x9 cm, produced by the German company Leonar-Werke Arndt & Löwengard in Wandsbek near Hamburg c.1914.
It is described as being similar to the Model C III but with a better finish [1].
The lens is a Leonar Extra Rapid Aplanat 120mm 1:8 in a Leonar everset leaf shutter with speeds of 1/25 1/50 1/100 sec. and B and T [2].
