The Graflex Photorecord Camera is a system camera for use with 500inch rolls of 35mm film. It was offered by Folmer & Schwing from 1934 to 1959. Its body contains the film transport mechanism. It has a simple mechanical counter for hundreds of images. A bellows with Heavy Duty Betax shutter and a Graflex Lens was available as well as an alternate rigid lens barrel with shutter and lens. Another accessory was the camera stand with a fast operation lever for both shutter release and film transport. The heavy metal construction seems to have been chosen for high frequency usage. The Wollensak Heavy Duty Betax shutter offered speeds from 1 sec. to 1/25 sec plus time and bulb mode. The camera may have been used as portable microfilm camera and repro camera. It could shoot full frame images or up to 1600 half frame pictures. Some cameras were in use for the U.S. Army.
