Fujica Half 1.9

The Fujica Half 1.9 as it's name implies is a compact 35mm half frame film camera from Fuji Photo.

It features a Fujinon 1:1.9 f=3.3cm lens. The camera takes photos in a portrait vertical orientation. For landscape type photos turn the camera 90 degrees. The shutter speed is adjusted on the collar of the lens barrel, it can be adjusted from 1/8 to 1/500 of a sec. and there is also a bulb mode. Focusing is done with a tab on the lens, a distance scale marking is located below the tab.

Within the finder are focus distance symbols on the left. Single person is 3 to 4 feet, group is 7 to 12 feet, and mountain for 12 feet to infinity. The right side has a meter needle with with indicators for a correct exposure region and under and over exposure sections.

The aperture dial is on the face of the camera. The film speed can also be set with this dial. It has settings for either DIN (15-27) or ASA (25-400) and can be changed by lifting the outer ring and rotating until the indicator is on the desired setting of the film.
