Overview

The Ernemann Heag XIV was produced in 3 different versions from 1908 to 1922. The cameras were designed as two-shutter cameras: focal plane shutter with speeds from 1/50 to 1/2500 (after 1917 the maximum speed was lowered to 1/1000); and front shutter.


Heag XIV 8x10.5 (1908-1909)

The cameras were designed for 8x10.5 film and 9x12 plates; lens standard with 2 thin round posts and red bellows.

Heag XIV 9x12 (1909-1922)

The camera was designed for 9x12 plates; lens standard with 2 thin round posts with red bellows (earlier version 1908-1909); or lens standard chromed stamped metal with black bellows (later version 1909-1922).

Heag XIV 4.5x6 (1911-1925)

Miniature version of the Heag XIV camera for plates and film-packs. Designed as the only self-erecting Heag XIV model.
