Emil Wünsche Reise-Cameras

The Reisekamera (travel camera) was a popular type of portable view camera around 1900. It was a foldable bellows camera. Unfolded it had rails on which the camera back had to be moved for focusing. Many travel cameras allowed tilt movements with the back and shift movement with the lens board. Emil Wünsche made several types of his Reise-Cameras:

Meteor, Furror, Sirius, Eureka and Excelsior.

The Schüler-Apparat was the variant for beginners. Wünsche's Reise-Cameras are all close to the most popular conception of the Reisekamera.
