The Chinon Auto 2001 is an autofocus compact camera sold in the mid-1980s. It has a 35mm f2.8 lens and film speed is set automatically by DX Encoding. The camera has a clamshell design. When the shell is slid open, the lens is revealed and the flash is readied. A self-timer is included. Three LED lights in the viewfinder indicate the focused distance.
