Casio RF-3

Alongside the RF-1 and RF-2, the Casio RF-3 Auto/Manual is a 35mm film SLR curiously carrying the brand of electronics giant Casio. It was sold with a K-mount Casio Lens System 50mm 1:2 standard lens, or with a Casio 35-70mm 2× zoom lens. Evidently those two lenses were the total extent of the Casio "system." Unlike its brandmates, this is an electronically-controlled autoexposure model; and even the self-timer is electronic (with a front-facing countdown LED). Manual shutter speed selection is only possible using up/down rocker buttons. The Casio bodies bear a Japanese JCII quality-control seal and close inspection shows many commonalities with numerous SLRs built by Cosina. (The Cosina CT9 appears to be identical.)
