Canon PowerShot A700

The PowerShot A700 is a digital camera by Canon of Japan released in 2006. It was replaced by the PowerShot A710 IS just months later.

It features a 6 megapixel 1/2.5-inch CCD based imaging sensor giving images of up to 2816 x 2112 pixels. It is fitted with a 5.8 - 34.8mm (35-210mm 35mm equivalent) f/2.8-4.8 (6x) zoom lens. Focusing is from 55cm-inf, while the macro mode from 1-55cm. The back has a 115,000 dot 2.5" TFT color LCD display used for a digital viewfinder, but a optical zooming finder is also available. There is a built-in flash with auto, on, off as well as the typical red-eye reduction mode. It has a range of 55cm to 2.5m. Storage is via Secure Digital or MultiMediaCard flash memory cards. Power comes from two AA batteries.
