Camcor

The Camcor is a simple camera loaded with a magazine. It was made in about 1956 by the Camera Corporation of America (this company was in Detroit; McKeown notes two other companies of the same name in other cities; one of these is the later name of the Candid Camera Corporation).[1] The Camcor is the only camera McKeown lists for this company.
The magazines, loaded through a sliding panel in the base, were loaded with film at the factory, and contain film for twelve exposures. The magazine can be removed from the camera mid-roll, to change from colour to black-and-white. The magazine has a frame counter.[1]
The lens has two aperture settings, for black-and-white or (slower) colour film.
