Amateur Photographer is the world's oldest consumer weekly photographic magazine, and was first published in October 1884. It still exists in print and is also available in digital format.


British Journal of Photography

The British Journal of Photography (BJP) claims to be the longest-running photographic periodical, begun in 1854.


Camera Owner

Camera owner was a hobbyist magazine which started in 1964 and was published bi-monthly. In 1968 it evolved into Creative Camera, which was a monthly magazine on fine art photography and documentary photography. Publication ceased in 2001.

What Digital Camera

What Digital Camera is a monthly magazine about digital cameras published by IPC Media. The magazine was launched in August 2003 and describes itself as "world's oldest digital photography magazine". The magazine is issued every four weeks in print and digital formats.
