Ardern

Thomas Ardern (or Arden)[1] was a camera maker in Victoria, Australia from 1889 to 1891. His address was 159 Little Collins Street, Melbourne.[2]
Only one of his cameras has been seen so far - a half-plate English pattern tailboard camera with Dallmeyer lens, it is pictured here.

- ↑ Notices published in The Argus newspaper in 1888 and 1893 had both spellings: Ardern and Arden. In 1894 it had advertisements for Arden and Hall (photographic requisites) as well as Ardern and Hall. The address was 238 Little Collins Street.
