Winbond

Winbond Electronics Corporation was founded in 1987 in the Hsinchu Science-based Industrial Park, Taiwan. Among many other products it made some central processing units for digital cameras. Mid-2008 the production of such CPUs was handed over to a company named Nuvoton.
