Glossary Terms
Webcam mode is a feature in some digital cameras that allows the camera to be used as a video camera when connected to a computer with a USB cable. It can then be used for telephony type applications, most commonly via the internet.
There are also some third party computer software applications that will allow this mode on specified camera models.
