The Vivitar ViviCam 3000 is a digital camera released in 1997. It was an OEM version of the Sound Vision SVmini, and was also sold as the UMAX MDX-8000. It originally cost $499.[1]

Its maximum resolution is 1000x800 (less than 1 megapixel), its lens is fixed-focus, shutter speeds range from 1 second to 1/2000, it has internal memory for up to 25 images (plus ability for a flash memory card of 4MB for up to 200 images), and it needed 6 AA batteries to operate.
