UV lenses were originally made for the Uni. The Unirex was sold with a bespoke silver finished 50mm f/2 lens. The IC-1 Auto similarly came with a bespoke Hi Topcor 50mm lens, where the first versions got an f/2, and later versions got an f/1.8.

The UV mount lenses from Tōkyō Kōgaku are used on cameras from the 1960's (like the Topcon 100 Auto, the Uni, and Unirex) and the 1970s (like the IC-1 Auto). These unique lens designs do not have a built-in shutter, but instead are mounted directly onto the shutter assembly protruding from the camera body.
