The Topcon RE 300 is a manual focus 35mm SLR from Tōkyō Kōgaku. It accepts Exakta type lenses. It is an almost identical twin of the Topcon RE 200, but has electrical motor winder contacts on the base, and a different focusing screen. Exakta also had a model released as the Exakta EDX 3.

It has a metal focal-plane shutter with speeds from 1s to 1/1000 and B. Flash sync is at 1/125 sec. The self-timer delay is adjustable from 4 to 12 sec. It features a full aperture TTL, match LED, center-weighted metering system using two CdS cell. There are three LED's in the finder. The top LED indicates over exposure, the bottom one is for under exposure, and they emit a red color. The correct exposure lamp is in the middle and emits a green color. The meter has a range of 3.5 to 18 EV at (ASA 100), settable to film speeds from 25 to 1600 ASA. Focus is aided by a split-image rangefinder spot surrounded by a micro-prism collar. It uses two 1.5 volt silver oxide batteries. The film transport uses a manual film advance lever and rewind crank. An Auto Winder-II motor drive accessory is also available.
