: If you want to divide the article, go ahead; it's a wiki! The current shape arose only from the sequence of other people's edits. It would be good to add anything you know about odd versions too, with as much information as can be verified. Sadly, it doesn't seem clear that CorgiHouse has the image-rights to the pictures he has posted on flickr (and anyway the image isn't in our pool) but you could certainly state that such a camera exists, and what you know of its features. The one on ebay I would be tempted to say is a different camera altogether, but not worth starting a fresh article, unless there's a picture we can use; so I'd add a statement that such a thing exists and has been seen, but that it's probably a prototype. --[[User:Dustin McAmera|Dustin McAmera]] ([[User talk:Dustin McAmera|talk]]) 14:07, 16 September 2012 (PDT)

Revision as of 21:07, 16 September 2012

The Perkeo E III IIIe debacle needs to be cleared up. Like I posted in the article they could be all the same model just with different names due to the buy out. Or they could have had different names in different markets. --RyanR.Warner 11:07, 20 June 2011 (PDT)

You have added the Perkeo 3x4 part-way through the article; but it was already there, right at the top!--Dustin McAmera 12:12, 20 June 2011 (PDT)

The whole article should be split into at least two articles. The Perkeo 3x4 and the Perkeo I,III, III models as the models are related only by name. The later ('48-'50) Bessa 66 is the immediate forerunner to Perkeo I. --SoundOptics (talk) 12:05, 16 September 2012 (PDT)

There were also a fixed lens (Heliar) Perkeo version. Possibly only a prototype, but it is shown here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Voigtlander-Perkeo-Prototype-120-film-/230649812270?pt=US_Vintage_Cameras&hash=item35b3ccd52e

As well as other 6x6 prototypes http://www.flickr.com/photos/7392884@N04/5004719389/ --SoundOptics (talk) 12:05, 16 September 2012 (PDT)
