Books only

The initial purpose of this page was to list books and printed bibliography only. I realize that the title is not explicit enough and that it should be "Source books: English language". Maybe it is not too late to change that title. It would be interesting to have better link pages than Camera links, but I would much prefer these pages to be separate from the printed bibliography. --Rebollo fr 18:55, 14 March 2007 (EDT)

Belatedly seconded. And because there was no answer to the comment above, I'm about to delete the additions.
Articles about cameras (etc.) may cite printed or web sources. (Conceivably, they could cite other kinds of sources as well, but this seldom occurs.) An explanation of the nature of a website is seldom necessary: the reader of Camerapedia can simply click on the link and look at the site for him- or herself. For a book or magazine, the reader of CP will be lucky to do no more than visit a library. Chances are that the library would have to be a big one or one in a foreign country, or that the reader would have to get hold of the printed source via abebooks.com or similar. So what kind of printed source is it? Is it worth the trouble of locating or worth the asking price? These are questions that the pages in Category:Sources can usefully answer. -- Hoary 04:22, 20 March 2007 (EDT)

I'm adding the books I have in my personal library to make referencing them easier if it should come up. I hope this isn't working backwards. I'm also going to alphabetize the sections by book title. If this is undesirable, or if I've missed some other sorting that's going on let me know and I'll undo it. -- Pandabob
