Re. moulded plastic lenses.
The article reads: "The AF-1 TWIN had moulded plastic lenses, which were used for the first time after the development of technology to overcome moisture absorption and other issues."
This statement needs IMHO to be further elaborated, since obviously moulded plastic lenses at that time had been around for several decades.
